Fee Transparency

“Just because it once was, does not mean it has to be.”
Nick Horn, Consultant

LIS earns revenue in several ways depending on the preference of the client and the scope of the services we provide. We may be compensated from carrier commissions or fees paid by a client for services LIS provides.  LIS discloses the compensation we receive each year in our clients’ Annual Renewal and Marketing Reports, in Form 5500 filings or upon request.

For larger clients, LIS has the ability to charge a fee rather than having the commissions as part of the premiums. At the client’s options, all carrier commissions will be adjusted to 0%. Any ancillary compensation received, such as bonuses will offset the annual fee. With medical inflation rising faster than CPI, why are you giving your broker a bigger raise than your employees?
